Tis still early, but reviews of Trivium’s Ascendancy are starting to come in. Most recently, from www.PitRiff.com. “Man is the resurgance of American Metal an exciting thing to be a witness to,” starts off the review. Mid-review states, “they employ a ton of time changes, fill riffs, and amazingly acrobatic solos.” And the review concludes with, “If you are as excited as I am about the metal scene today than this is an album that you should not pass by.” You can check out the review in its entirety HERE.

On further inspection, they make a startling discovery – the Abbey is built over the entrance to a giant underground cave system. Local biologists believe the cave could be home to an undiscovered eco-system, so they hire a group of American cave-explorers to help them investigate its depths. JACK (Cole Hauser) and his brother TYLER (Eddie Cibrian) are thrill-seeking professional cave explorers who run a team of the top divers in the world. They arrive in Romania with all the latest equipment, including a new type of scuba tank allowing a diver to remain submerged for up to 24 hours. The crack unit, which also includes Charlie (Piper Perabo) and Buchanan (Morris Chestnut), immediately begins their exploration. But what they find deep inside the caves is not just a new eco-system, but an entirely new species altogether… You can view a trailer for the film HERE. And click HERE to view the poster.

Wednesday 13 and company (Ghastly, Kid Kid, and Pig) recently returned from Los Angeles were they completed filming the video for the first single “I Walked With A Zombie”. In fact, the first cut of it arrived at Roadrunner yesterday (3/2). As it stands now, it looks great (fact, not opinion). Just a couple minor changes needed, and it will be ready to go. Final cut should be in sometime next week. As for the shoot itself, Wednesday 13 had the following to say: “This was the easiest video shoot I’ve been a part of so far…but it was also the weirdest, too. We shot everything on green screen so that was really odd, but it will all make sense in the end. The concept puts the band in the classic horror film Night Of The Living Dead. We are interacting with the characters in the movie as well as performing in a graveyard and inside the house. It should be entertaining and funny to say the least.” Wednesday 13 Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying and the Dead coming this April
