After three consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s Modern Rock Chart with smash hit single, “Believe”, and a massively successful UK tour with NICKELBACK, multi-platinum rock quartet STAIND have confirmed UK headline shows in January 2009. Joining them will be SEETHER, currently supporting the band in the USA.

STAIND is touring in support of new album THE ILLUSION OF PROGRESS, which debuted on Billboard’s Top 200 at No. 3, making it the fourth consecutive album of STAIND’s career to debut in the top 3. THE ILLUSION OF PROGRESS is STAIND’s sixth album and the follow-up to 2005’s certified platinum Chapter V. The album was produced by Johnny K and recorded in frontman Aaron Lewis’ home studio with guitarist Mike Mushok , drummer Jon Wysocki, and bassist Johnny April.

World class Virginia noise makers LAMB OF GOD are thrilled to announce they will be co-headlining the second Metal Hammer Defenders Of The Faith tour with DIMMU BORGIR. Set to hit 5 UK towns in February 2009, the shows will be opened each night by FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, with special guests TBC shortly. Lamb Of God will close each night.

All dates are all ages, though under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult.
