Unstoppable multi-platinum rockers NICKELBACK have announced DARK HORSE as the title for their new album, set for release on November 17th. The first single “Gotta Be Somebody” will be delivered to radio on September 29th. DARK HORSE is co-produced by Nickelback and famed rock producer Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard).

A true modern success story, Nickelback has sold upwards of 26 million records worldwide, with 2005’s All The Right Reasons accounting for 10 million of that total. In addition, the six singles from the album totaled 9.3 million downloads and 5.5 million ringtones. All proceeds of digital single and video sales for the song “If Everyone Cared” between February 1 and July 31, 2007 were donated to charity, equally distributed between Amnesty International and International Childrens’ Awareness Canada. Each of the five videos from All The Right Reasons has reached #1 on VH1’s playlist: “Photograph,” “Savin’ Me,” “Far Away,” “If Everyone Cared” and “Rockstar.” In 2006 Nickelback was awarded a World Music Award for “World’s Best Rock Group,” a Billboard Touring Award for “Breakthrough Artist,” an American Music Award for “Favorite Pop/Rock Album” and a People’s Choice Award for “Best Rock Group.”

Multi-Platinum Rock and Roll Hall of Famer SAMMY HAGAR will release a new album on Loud & Proud Records on NOVEMBER 18th. COSMIC UNIVERSAL FASHION marks the first official release for Loud & Proud, a Roadrunner Records imprint focusing on established artists. The title track and first single, “Cosmic Universal Fashion,” was written as an online collaboration between Hagar and a young Iraqi rock and roller by the name of Steven Lost. Released via Sammy’s website RedRocker.com and already a YouTube sensation, the very topical video was produced in the same spirit as the classic Van Halen video for “Right Now, ” and strikes a timely chord with November’s upcoming US Presidential election.

“We are light years ahead of where we thought we’d be in 1992, yet there will always be issues that continue to need our attention,” said Hagar. “With the upcoming election, global and national issues are at the forefront of everyone’s minds. ‘Cosmic Universal Fashion’ is not about supporting left or right, blue or red, but rather an attempt to appeal to people on a personal level to get involved.”

MADINA LAKE have started work on their follow-up to 2007’s debut FROM THEM, THROUGH US, TO YOU.

After several months of writing in thier base of Chicago, the guys have made their way over to New Jersey this very week to begin work with producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Killswitch Engage, Hawthorn Heights, Red Jumsuit Apparatus).

The band have given the album the working title of ‘Attics To Eden’ on their OFFICIAL MYSPACE. Watch this space for ongoing news about the album, and in the meantime, be sure too check out the pics from their ATTICUS show in June, which have been loaded into the bands GALLERY.
