KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES fly out to El Paso, Texas this coming weekend to begin recording the new album with The Blackout producer Jason Perry. The album should see a release first quarter of 2010.

Aled checked in about the impeding trip and had this to say about their upcoming jaunt:

It goes without saying that we’re beyond excited to lay down some new jams and start the circus all over again.

What makes it even better is that we’re recording in El Paso, which means amazing food, ridiculous weather and the constant threat of death by venomous, rattling demons or eight legged murderers. I think the anticipation outweighs the mortal peril, though.

While we’re there, we’ll be keeping everyone posted on our progress via a live stream that we’ll be doing daily. If you listen carefully enough you may be able to hear half a second of a new song in amongst the chaos. There’ll be some written updates too for the less bandwidthy. So basically, if i AM chomped to death by arachnids or reptiles, chances are you’ll either be able to see it or read about it while my bloods still warm. Yummy.

The stream will go live at 8pm each day from August 3rd through to the August 14th- keep an eye on the player on the right hand side of the homepage of the bands OFFICIAL WEBSITE or HEAD HERE to the bands UStream page/

You should also follow the guys on Twitter, as if they kick off any extra feeds, they will post there- http://www.twitter.com/kighbitch. Head back here for written updates from the guys.

In other news, the band have been confirmed for this year’s Reading / Leeds festival, opening the main stage on the Saturday and Sunday at Leeds / Reading respectively. This is the fourth consecutive year the band have been invited to play the festival.
