SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera will participate in a special jam in Serbia next month. The concert, dubbed “Eye For An Eye”, will take place on Friday, November 7 at SKC in Belgrade, and will feature Max alongside some of the most popular and most respected musicians from Serbia and Montenegro: Boban (RITAM NEREDA, backing vocals, guitar), Kojot (EYESBURN, bass, vocals), Alek (EYESBURN, drums) and Nino (EYESBURN, guitar). Also appearing on the bill will be legendary Belgrade hardcore band HITMAN, Bulgarian heavy/punk thrashers VENDETTA and the first local “elektro metal” band X-CENTAR. Tickets are available from the SKC box office and are priced at 600 dinars. The first band is scheduled to take the stage at 9:00 p.m. As previously reported, Cavalera will be recording a track with the aforementioned EYESBURN, a Serbian ska-metal band, for inclusion on SOULFLY’s next studio album, tentatively due in early 2004 through Roadrunner Records. Also making a guest appearance on CD is former MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, who is expected to appear on four songs on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2002’s “3”.
