KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD ON THE ‘BLUES FROM THE BACK ROADS’ TOUR
Posted on October 28, 2010The new album from KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD was recorded when he was out in support of his previous album/documentary project ’10 Days Out- Blues From The Back Roads’. That project saw Kenny playing with some of the most famous names in Blues and in support of that, he went out on the road with them.
Live! In Chicago is a recording of one of those shows, and features his band- Noah Hunt, Chris Layton, Scott Nelson and Riley Osbourn, along with special guests, Hubert Sumlin, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Buddy Flett, Bryan Lee and Tommy Shannon (of Double Trouble).
In the clip below, Kenny talks about that tour and how he almost didn’t make the stage for the show that night.
