We’ve been having a spot of bother with AMANDA PALMER‘s latest video. TV wont play it, and some online folks are a lil hesitant. We let Amanda know, and like us, she was a lil baffled and quite rightly miffed (to say the least).

She wrote a blog on Tuesday, which we caught today when logging in the RR UK MYSPACE and were going to post about, but someone beat us to it…

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) today announced The 2009 JUNO Awards nominees at a media conference held at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel. The Juno’s are Canada’s equivalent to our Brits.

Our very own multi platinum-selling NICKELBACK garnered five JUNO Award nominations including JUNO Fan Choice (presented by Pepsi), Single of the Year, Album of the Year (sponsored by the Canadian Recording Industry Association), Group of the Year and Jack Richardson Producer of the Year (with JOEY MOI for the hits “Gotta Be Somebody” and “Something in Your Mouth” off their sixth album, DARK HORSE). The guys also have the honour of performing at the awards ceremony, which will take place this coming Saturday.
