SLIPKNOT PERFORM AN AWESOME GIG AT SONISPHERE
Posted on July 11, 2011SLIPKNOT graced the stage at Sonisphere UK this weekend with over 50,000 people watching them at the festival and 500,000 people watching the live stream of the band’s set online. Earlier in the day there had been a two minute silence in honour of Paul Gray – COREY TAYLOR thanked fans for their compassion and for honouring the silence so respectfully:
“I want to thank you all for what you did today. It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Thank for you from the bottom of our hearts.”
It was a historical and most definitely emotional performance for both the band and the audience / viewers of the stream.There have been some great reviews, photos and videos going up online already – check them out!
