You get a lot of bands saying they are all about the fans. Well, Bleeding Through proved it! When a fan recognized the members of BLEEDING THROUGH having lunch near the freeway, he could not have imagined the chain of events that would follow. BLEEDING THROUGH was passing through Medford, Oregon on a day off from this summer’s Ozzfest and had pulled into a Taco Bell parking lot to eat. After spotting the Orange County metal crew getting out of their bus and going into the fast-food restaurant, the fan called over a dozen of his friends who descended on the eatery ? some of them wearing BLEEDING THROUGH shirts. The band talked at length with the fans as they signed autographs and posed for pictures. “All of the kids were really cool. They started telling us that most national touring bands don’t stop in their town to play shows,” recalls Schieppati. “One of them said he felt like he would probably never seen BLEEDING THROUGH, or any band like us, in his life.” Without a moment’s hesitation, the band ? who honed their brand of metal in the “DIY” hardcore scene ? asked the fans if there were any shows happening that night they could participate in. “We ended up going to this club where a bunch of local bands were playing ? a psychobilly band, a hardcore band, an emo band ? and we just set up our stuff and played a set,” Schieppati said. There were roughly 150 kids in attendance at the show, which was a benefit, with all proceeds going toward cancer research. The Bleeding Through site Source: Blabbermouth
