After the tremendous success of our master classes last year we’ve kept the same format for this years master class room with, as ever, a very strong line up. The MikeDolbear.com Master Class Room will play host to four of the top players in their respective genres allowing you to listen and learn from the masters. Education is the focus of our master classes and with seating limited to 75 people there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions, see the action and chat with these artists. “The CRADLE OF FILTH and AT THE GATES sticksman [Adrian Erlandsson] shows all the budding rockers and metallers how it’s really done in this master class of rock drumming. CROWBREED
Posted on February 12, 2008HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta and CROWBAR guitarist/vocalist Kirk Windstein are currently in the studio recording the first album from their collaborative project, which is presently known simply as “CROWBREED”. Jasta has issued the following update on the album’s recording sessions: “Right now I am up in [Massachusetts] at Planet Z studios with Kirk from CROWBAR recording an album for our new band together. Zeuss is producing and Derek from SEEMLESS is playing drums on the album. All I can say right now is that the material is definitely the heaviest and most diverse stuff I have ever been a part of and I seriously can’t wait for people to hear this. Kirk is singing with me as well as playing the bass and guitar on the album, and we have both been writing and bringing ideas to the table. It’s been killer! From the offset you know it’s going to ooze quality content as you see metal god Matt Heafy (TRIVIUM) on the front cover with an expression that could only be liked to that of someone whose pint you have just spilt. But wait there’s more, in addition to the features onCHIMAIRA, TRIVIUM, EVERY TIME I DIE, WITHIN TEMPTATION the magazine is giving away some of our best music! Not content with giving away a CD containing CHIMAIRA – Nothing Remains OPETH – The Grand Conjuration EVERY TIME I DIE – Champing At The Bit WITHIN TEMPTATION – It’s The Fear They are also giving away 15 Roadrunner download tracks!!!
