CHECK OUT THE NEW VIDEO FROM AMANDA PALMER- WHAT’S THE USE OF WOND’RIN’

Posted on March 11, 2009

Click on the player below to check out the latest video offering from AMANDA PALMER– a killer (in ever sense of the word) video for the track WHAT’S THE USE OF WOND’RIN’ which is taken from the album WHO KILLER AMANDA PALMER, which is in stores now.

The track is a cover of the song from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel, and is a song that Amanda decided to ironically cover after being horrified at the message within the song when exposed to it when performing in the show at high school in the 11th or 12th grade. The track essentially tells a young woman who is being beaten by her partner, that if she loves him, then it’s OK and she will be able to deal with it.

Amanda tackles this in the video as only Amanda can.

You can pick up the album online at this THIS LOCATION.
