Did you know? Last week, after watching Killswitch Engage’s set from side stage in Spokane, 36 Crazyfists bassist Mick Whitney fell off the stage while exiting. One wrong step caused him a broken shoulder. Mick spent the night at the local hospital, and the band was forced to miss the 4 ensuing Canadian shows (Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Winnipeg). Mick since got his footing back, and the band continued on with the tour in Tulsa, OK. Yes, not even broken bones stopped Mick. He has been playing with a broken shoulder… give that man PROPS! However, Mick is currently on his way back to Alaska due to extenuating circumstances. That being said, there are still a handful of dates left to be played on this US tour…and yes, the show will go on… Who will be playing bass for 36 CF on these remaining US shows? Hint: He was originally the drummer for Killswitch Engage, and is now on guitar. Yes, Jack-Of-All-Musical trades, Adam Dutkiewicz. In other 36CF news, if you fancy giving the boys a helping hand, ‘Bloodwork’ is currently up for votes on the NME chart on MTV2’s website. You can vote for them HERE. 36 Crazyfists hit UK shores from October 3rd.
