KO퐌¿N usher in a new horizon for heavy music with their new album ‘The Path of Totality’. Collaborating with dubstep heavyweights Skrillex, Excision, Downlink, Noisia, Feed Me, 12th Planet and Flinch, KO퐌¿N have constructed a hypnotic hybrid of dubstep and metal. Infusing dubstep anarchy into their signature sound, the legendary quartet stand on the cusp of a musical revolution for both hard rock and electronica. Bouncing from polyrhythmic guitar pummeling into drastic electro drops, the music is dark, dangerous and definitive KO퐌¿N.

You may remember when we announced the awesome competition that KO퐌¿N ran to celebrate ‘The Path of Totality’, whereby they invited artists to submit a remix using the provided stems for the songs ‘Get Up’ or ‘Narcissistic Cannibal’ for the chance to be the opening DJ at one of their upcoming concerts? Well, submissions are closed and you can now hear the remixes by clicking this link. Vote for your favourite remix and the winners will win the below prizes:

Competition prizes

• One winner will have the incredible opportunity to DJ live before Korn at one of their upcoming concerts. Travel and two nights’ accommodation will be provided (location to be determined).
• Four runners-up will each receive signed Korn merchandise and will have their remixes featured on Korn’s social media channels.
• The highest voted artist will receive exclusive Korn merchandise and will have their remix featured on Korn’s social media channels.

How Winner(s) Will Be Chosen

KO퐌¿N will choose the winner(s) from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. A qualified submission is one which meets all the Terms & Conditions, Guidelines and Official Rules.

Guidelines

Participants must download the provided stems from either ‘Get Up’ or ‘Narcissistic Cannibal’ to create their track.

Music submitted must be no longer than 6 minutes and must be submitted in MP3 format (up to 10MB). Participants should retain the higher quality version of their song, which will be sent to Korn should the participant be chosen as the winner.

Official Rules

In order to be chosen as the winner, the selected finalist shall grant ownership of all rights in and to the intellectual property to the winning submission to Korn. This assignment of rights agreement will be arranged directly between representatives of Korn and the winner.

The winner will be allowed to use their submission for portfolio purposes.

KO퐌¿N has the right, but not the obligation, to use the winning submission.
