ADDICTED TO HEAVY METAL…
Posted on October 13, 2011We were pleased to see the ‘Five Weirdest Addiction’ post on the Metro’s website today as the article features a man who is addicted to heavy metal (aren’t we all)!? The Metro explains:
A man in Sweden has been awarded disability benefits for his addiction to heavy metal. It means he’s also allowed to mosh along at work and take time off to go head banging at gigs. Roger Tullegen struggled for nearly ten years to have his addiction officially recognised: “I spoke to three psychologists and they finally agreed that I needed this to avoid being discriminated against.”
We wonder how long it will be before this addiction becomes interationally recognised – although we all headbang at our desks at Roadrunner HQ regardless, of course! You can read more over on the Metro’s website.
