DREAM THEATER graced the stage at High Voltage Festival 2011 on the Sunday and blew away the audience in the most epic proportions. RockAAA caught up with Mike at the festival to discuss joining the band:
“Jordan and John Petrucci were able to compose with no drummer. So you’re going to hear the way they’ve always been, except with [just] them. When they sent me the demos I was taken back. I was almost worried that I was too happy in general and that I would like anything they sent to me, but it wasn’t just me. You’re gonna hear these guys do their core stuff, and they’ve been very successful so far so I can see no other reason but for everybody to really like this”
