THE PARLOR MOB ON TRACKING LIVE

Posted on April 15, 2011

THE PARLOR MOB are a live band first and formost- the whole reason for them being a band in the first place is simply to jam together. At least that’s the assertion here in the first of a series of updates recorded when the band were in Austin, TX recording the follow-up to their 2009 debut And You Were A Crow.

It’s also the reason that the band chose to track their songs ‘as live’ and the guys go into detail in the clip below about their motivation for that recording method and how they have been chomping at the bit to get into the studio and lay down the new record, which is pencilled for a summer release.

Click on the player to get the full scoop and to see the guys in the studio.
