Today, we’re featuring American black metallers Necronomichrist. Yes, you read that name right. The author of the piece, Roadrunner’s own Lilly Ryden, explains: “Maybe it’s the 4pm sunsets, the cold, or my complete aversion to Christmas carols, but I can’t seem to listen to enough of [black metal]. So when I stumbled upon Necronomichrist, I was fairly pleased.”
She goes on to note that the band’s sonic offerings include “tenebrous melodies and vocals that could turn any white X-mas black.”
