PART 2 OF OUR CHAT WITH PORCUPINE TREE’S STEVEN WILSON

Posted on October 28, 2010

Following on from Monday’s part 1 of our interview with PORCUPINE TREE frontman Steven Wilson, in the player below you can find the second part of that interview, where we look back on the release and touring of current album The Incident over the past 13 months.

Steven reviews not only the album cycle, but also reflects on how “something changed” over the course of the album cycle, “[Porcupine Tree] just seemed to be more respected and accepted” and he considers if this is a reflection in the changing music industry and the larger emphasis on multimedia and live performance, which has always made up a large part of Porcupine Tree. He also touches upon how humbled the band have been by the reception of the album.

Check out part 3 of the interview this coming Friday (29th October) when we chat to Steven about what the immediate future holds for both Porcupine Tree and for Steven.

In other news, the band have begun posting clips of their live performance in Tilburg on their Official YouTube. Check them out now AT THIS LOCATION.
