WHAT’S ON YOUR IPOD- DALLAS STEADLUR (STEADLUR)

Posted on July 18, 2009

Back home in Atlanta the STEADLUR boys are preparing for some more US shows and garnering support and votes in the CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE Awards, where they are nominated for best new band (VOTE HERE!!!). However drummer Dallas found some time to do us a little iPod shuffling, and tell us the first five tracks that came up…

Al My Friends Are Dead -Turbo Negro
I love this band. They just do they do rock n’ roll justice!!! Can’t beat that!

Hatebreeders – The Misfits
Ha ha ha oh no! It’s Philip [Dallas’ brother and Steadlur vox / guitar- Ed.] who’s really into these more than me. I have to be honest! I cant honestly say i enjoy them but there are a few exceptions… such as ‘Where Eagles Dare’ but alas that’s not the track that came up! See- I’m telling them as they come!

I Shot The Sheriff – Bob Marley
There’s not a lot you can really say here. I mean, who doesnt love Bob Marley… except for the federal government??!!

I’m Only Sleeping – The Beatles
I’m gonna be controversial. This is a great song, and I like The Beatles but i love The Beach Boys more!! Brian wilson is cooler than Paul McCartney!

Gary Gilmore’s Eyes – The Adverts
Punk rawk is awesome! And this is some of the best you will hear!

Miss any of the previous What’s On Your iPod’s in the series? You can check them out at the links below:

JOEL FISHER- KIDS IN GLASS HOUSES
MARK MELICIA- THE PARLOR MOB
