Despite DragonForce being on their stella UK tour, long-haired-legend/guitar god Herman Li caught up with RockSomething for a serious chat about the issues of drinking and soloing on stage. A section of the interview reads as follows… RockSomething: And can you really play that well whilst drunk?! Herman Li: Yeah it doesn’t really make any difference. When you play for one hour and forty-five minutes, you do get thirsty so we fixed beverage-holders and straws to our microphone stands because there wasn’t time between the solos to stop and have a drink. I mean Sam starts three hours before the show and he always plays the same no matter what, but I don’t always drink as a rule. We started doing that in Japan a couple of years ago and we always play pretty much the same anyway! PURE GENIUS! CLICK HERE to read the whole interview.
