Killswitch Engage
In Stores Now
Prior to their signing to Roadrunner, Killswitch Engage released their self-titled debut in 2000 for influential underground U.S. label Ferret Records. Formed from the ashes of hardcore Overcast and metal stalwarts Aftershock, in the space of just 4 years, Killswitch Engage have become standard-bearers for GENERATION HEAVY. ‘Killswitch Engage’ features vocals from original singer Jesse Leech (who was replaced by current frontman Howard Jones in 2002) and went on to become the foundation for a musical force to be reckoned with. This special reissue includes a remastered recording of the original by producer & guitarist Adam D, plus 4 rare 1999 demo tracks ('Prelude', 'Soilborn', 'Vide Infra' + 'In The Unblind') and brand new cover art from bassist Mike D’Antonio. With their 3rd album, 2004’s ‘The End of Heartache’, they re-ignited heavy music again, re-writing the rules of the game in the process. With a hard-earned reputation as one of the genre’s best live acts (stemming from awe-inspiring showings on Europe’s 2002 ‘Roadrage’ tour, last summer's US Ozzfest second stage and the Autumn of 2003’s MTV2 Headbangers Ball tour), they are firmly entrenched as one of the leader’s of the New Wave Of American Heavy Metal.
