Sunset Strip rock legends, RATT are set to release ‘Infestation,’ their first album in 11 years, on 19th April, through Roadrunner Records’ Loud n’ Proud imprint.
RATT’s brand of hook-driven melodic rock helped shape the legendary 80s LA metal scene. The band boasts a deep catalogue of hits including “Round and Round,” “Lay It Down,” “You’re In Love” and “Lack of Communication” and have sold millions of albums worldwide. With 1984’s mega-platinum debut, ‘Out of the Cellar’ celebrating its 25th anniversary last year, the guys are looking forward to starting a brand new chapter with brand new music to complement the dazzling legacy they have established over the last two-plus decades.
The band can’t wait to spread the word of their new opus. “We wanted this to be like something that we would have written right after ‘Out of the Cellar’”, states vocalist Stephen Pearcy. “We definitely went back to basics with the mindset of a band with a lot of excitement and some great songs to get out.” A digital version of the album will be available with four extra bonus tracks: ‘Scatter’, ‘You Think You’re Tough (live)’, ‘Tell The World (live)’ and ‘Way Cool Jr (live)’.
