Written and produced by the band, ‘All The Right Reasons’ sets the tone for Nickelback's future by showcasing a great range of musical styles and incorporating new musical elements into the mix, like piano and strings (on "Savin Me"). Fans of ‘classic’ Nickelback won’t be disappointed with "Fight For All The Wrong Reasons" and "Animals" taking us back to the band's trademark raucous rock. Lead-off single, ‘Photograph’ sees the band's ability to craft infectious, sticky rock tracks in full display, while also marking a natural progression for the band. The video, which was filmed in the band’s hometown of Hanna, Alberta in Canada, can currently be seen on most UK music TV channels.

This time around, the band have enlisted a couple of special guests for some cameo appearances. "Follow You Home" includes a guitar solo from ZZ Top maestro, Billy Gibbons, who Chad met backstage at one of their shows in Colorado, whereas on “Side of a Bullet” features a very different story. Chad became friends with drummer Vinnie Paul and the late guitarist Dimebag Darrell while on tour with Jerry Cantrell and wound up working with Dimebag on a cover of Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting,” which appeared on the “Charlie’s Angels” soundtrack. After the legendary guitarist was shot and killed onstage, a devastated Kroeger wrote the aggressive “Side of a Bullet,” as a lasting tribute to his friend. “After I put the song together, I really wanted Vinnie’s blessing,” Kroeger says. “So, I called him up and played the track for him over the phone. He said, ‘I’d love to have you do a song about my brother.’ Vinnie then sent some guitar outtakes and we pieced together a solo and put it on the song. The result is a new Dimebag Darrel solo.”

The band now feature former 3 Doors Down drummer, Daniel Adair and Nickelback still comprises of brothers Chad (vocals/guitar) and Mike Kroeger (bass) and Ryan Peake (guitar). Daniel brought his own hard-hitting, yet multi-faceted flair to the band and his ‘audition’ at Chad’s studio even made it on to the final album. “We are totally thrilled to have Daniel in the band,” says Chad. “The creativity that went on with him in the studio was really inspiring. He’s a totally amazing player.”

The continued growth of Nickelback is a success story built on the road, on the radio and by - above all things - great rock songs.
