Ozzfest for Ill Nino

Posted on February 12, 2008

It was previously written that Ill Nino would be playing the second stage of this year's US Ozzfest...for HALF THE TOUR only. Which half, we were not yet sure. However, that piece of info no longer matters - We are very happy to announce that Ill Nino will be playing ALL DATES on this Summer's US Ozzfest. Congratulations go out to Ill Nino: fuckin' enjoy, we know you are going to crush...

Just in case you forgot about the new video, here's a recap: For what quite possibly will be the first time you ever see this, we present Ill Nino's latest video - "What Comes Around". As told before, this video was shot on February 8th, in the desert plains of Vasquez Rocks out in LA. Besides being home to the filming of Star Trek and The Flintstones, Vasquez Rocks can now add the "What Comes Around" video to its resume. Random quotes from Roger (percussionist) about the video: "all I know is that it was damn hot up in that bitch (the desert)...not the kind of blow on your coffee and cool it down hot, we're talking AFRICA hot. No doubt." "All right girls, let's try it again." reoccurring quote from director Marcos Siega all day long. "Yo, we did 'What Comes Around' so many times, that it has now been officially played more than the hooker workin down the street from my house. No diggity." "Making a video was definitely the shit to me, it was something that I've done before, but not on the same level as this shoot. It was a proud moment for myself, and my brothers in Ill Nino." And now, it's time for you to check it out yourself. (see Video section) Enjoy.
